SalEZ is designed with privacy at its core. Your data stays on your device. We do not sell, share, or monetise your personal information in any way.

1. Who We Are

SalEZ is an inventory management app developed and operated by LTsneakers ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains how SalEZ collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application.

2. Data We Collect

2.2 Email Scanning Data

If you choose to use the Inbox Scanner feature, you provide:

Your email password is stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain, which is encrypted by the operating system. We never have access to your actual email password — only an app-specific password that you generate through your email provider.

2.3 Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect contacts, photos, or other personal files
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
We do not create user accounts on our servers

3. How We Process Your Data

3.1 Email Scanning Process

When you use the Inbox Scanner feature:

Your device connects directly to your email provider (Gmail, Outlook, or iCloud) via IMAP using the credentials you provide.
Email content is sent to our processing server solely for the purpose of extracting order information (product names, prices, quantities, and order numbers).
Our server processes the email content in real-time and returns the extracted data to your device.
No email content, credentials, or extracted data is stored, logged, or retained on our server after processing is complete.
The connection between your device and our server is encrypted.

3.2 PSA Card Lookups

When you use the PSA slab features, the app may connect to the PSA API to retrieve grading information for your cards. Only the card's certification number is sent; no personal data is transmitted.

3.3 Background Email Scanning

If you enable the auto-scan feature for an inbox, the app may periodically check for new order emails in the background using iOS Background App Refresh. This uses the same secure process described above. You can enable or disable this per inbox at any time.

4. Data Storage and Security

All inventory, sales, and personal data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework.
Email passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain, which uses hardware-level encryption.
Non-sensitive settings (inbox configuration, scan preferences) are stored in UserDefaults on your device.
We do not operate user accounts or cloud storage. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties for any purpose.

Your data may be transmitted to the following services solely for app functionality:

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data at all times:

Access: All your data is visible within the app at all times.
Deletion: You can delete any individual item, inbox, or record within the app. Deleting the app removes all data permanently.
Email scanning: The Inbox Scanner is entirely optional. You can add or remove inboxes at any time, and toggle background scanning on or off per inbox.
Credentials: You can remove saved email credentials at any time by deleting the inbox from the app.
Scan history: You can clear the "already saved" history at any time to re-scan previously processed emails.

7. Children's Privacy

SalEZ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

8. Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device for as long as you choose to keep it. We do not retain any data on our servers. When email content is processed for order extraction, it is handled in memory and discarded immediately after the response is sent to your device.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
